This inviting eatery shines brightest with its hearty, thoughtfully crafted breakfast fare that keeps locals and visitors returning day after day.

The menu is a treasure trove for breakfast lovers, boasting crowd favorites like the iconic Corned Beef Hash, which one regular proudly calls their "#1 joint in the area." The hash arrives perfectly crisped with tender chunks of corned beef that melt in your mouth, creating an unbeatable balance of savory flavors. If you're in the mood for something sweet yet satisfying, the Berry Waffle Special is a standout, offering warm, fluffy waffles topped with fresh berries and accompanied by eggs cooked to your liking and crispy bacon—an irresistible harmony of textures and tastes.

For those who crave a touch of luxury in their morning, the California Eggs Benedict and Benedict Florentine with an Extra Egg showcase silky poached eggs nestled atop savory bases, drizzled with house-made hollandaise that is rich but never overwhelming. The Kitchen Sink Omelette lives up to its name, bursting with a delightful medley of fresh ingredients that satisfy any hearty appetite. Meanwhile, adventurous palates are rewarded with the bold and flavorful Chorizo Scramble, a vibrant dish with just the right amount of spice to wake up your senses.

The cafe's dining atmosphere reflects its culinary approach: cozy, intimate, and authentically welcoming. You can often find the owner in the kitchen or chatting with guests, adding a personal touch that’s rare in today’s restaurant scene.

Not to be overlooked are Ann’s Sunshine Cafe’s excellent beverage options. Guests rave about the robust, freshly brewed hot coffee—crafted from high-quality beans that awaken the palate without bitterness—and the rich espresso that delivers a perfect pick-me-up. Whether you prefer a soothing cup of hot tea or a cold glass of fresh juice, the drink menu rounds out the breakfast experience with thoughtful variety.

Families will appreciate the Little Sunshine Menu, thoughtfully catered to children 12 and under, featuring comforting classics like grilled cheese with French fries and chicken strips that keep younger diners happy and satisfied without stretching the budget.

Beyond the plates, many customers fondly recall the warm ambience and the palpable sense of community that permeates Ann’s Sunshine Cafe. As Sabrina Italia puts it, "It’s all about the food here," with praise for dishes like the chicken fried steak and an unforgettable coffee cake slice she took home to share. Mark Rivera and Stephanie Angeles both highlight the exceptional value—generous portions paired with above-and-beyond customer care, striking a perfect balance between affordability and quality.

This is what modern restaurants can never beat. It’s all about the food here. I had the chicken fried steak, the gravy was amazing. Even the coffee was very good. I took a giant slice of coffee cake for my mom! I’ll be back!

My #1 Corned Beef Hash joint in the area. First time actually dining in! It's very... "cozy". Intimate old fashioned dinner experience. Very attentive and friendly staff. The owner is a great cook and a pretty funny guy.

The berry waffle special is great! Comes with 2 eggs however you like it and 2 slices of bacon. I also had the breakfast burrito to go with chorizo and it's excellent!!

Service was very friendly and the prices are very good for the portions they serve you. Food was very good. Coffee is outstanding because you can tell when you drink it that it is not the cheap brand most restaurants buy. I would definitely go back again.

Great little local spot! Cozy restaurant, with strong coffee and affordable prices. But bring cash, because it’s cash only. I recommend the “Kitchen Sink” omelette! It was delicious!
